Ticket holders were incentivised to log their travel with the opportunity to win VIP ticket upgrades and backstage experiences on the day of their show.
Testimonials:
Sam Booth, the Director of Sustainability at BST Hyde Park Festival, highlighted the significant role of the Lowr platform in their sustainability efforts. He remarked,
“Measurement of fan travel has long proven a real challenge for event sustainability teams, however the Lowr platform has helped generate more data in a more granular way than we’ve ever achieved to date.
The team are a pleasure to work with and have made roll-out of the project on tight timelines extremely smooth from beginning to end.”
One attendee shared their experience with the initiative:
“It’s good to know your own carbon footprint, and that companies are checking these things to try and help the environment.”
Another festival-goer expressed their appreciation for the initiative
“I think it’s important that more concert and event venues track carbon footprints of visitors and are able to use this to implement changes to reduce the emissions.”
